Dr. Steinert is the only ophthalmologist sited in the three separate areas of cataract, refractive and corneal surgery.
After graduating from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Steinert was an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard, on staff at the Boston Eye Surgery and Laser Center and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and in private practice at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. He recently relocated to accept a position at the University of California, Irvine where he serves as Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology, Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Vice Chairman of Clinical Ophthalmology and Director of Refractive, Corneal and Cataract Surgery.
Dr. Steinert is one of the most widely published doctors in his field and has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and books.
